1992Start of activity in the ELOT, CENELEC & IEC standardization -
1993Certification of all ELEMKO activities with ISO 9001 by BVQi -
1995Operation of a branch in Thessaloniki Greece -
2000Establishment of the high voltage laboratory in privately owned facilities in Thiva, Greece -
2005Accreditation of the laboratory according to ISO 17025 by RvA - Netherland (later in 2010 by A2LA - USA) -

The training and aduction of the technical world has been for many years, for ELEMKO one of its main actions. From the 1980s, our company started organizing training seminars throughout Greece. Our seminars are reinforced with technical publications and specialized books. The educational and informative activities are carried out in collaboration with industry bodies such as associations of electrical engineers and electrical installers.
The contribution of the testing laboratory of ELEMKO in Thiva add a special value, as there it gives the possibility of simulating lightning, so that the effectiveness of protection measures is more easily understood by the audience.
