In 1998, We have established our Lightning and High Voltage Laboratory.This project had been implemented exclusively from own funds and we collaborated with a leading Center in United Kingdom.
In the 25th of International Conference for Lightning Protection (ICLP) we have presented our generator100 kA10/350μς, one of the most basic equipments of our laboratory. Our laboratory is the first in Greece and one of the three in Europe that has such a generator.
2002
- The laboratory is certified according to the requirements of the ISO 9001/2000 Standard, by the International Certification Body BVQI.
2003
- The laboratory becomes a Member of the Hellas Lab, the Hellenic Association of Laboratories.
2006
- The laboratory receives accreditation in accordance with the requirements of EN-ISO / IEC 17025 by the Dutch National RVA Accreditation Council
2010
- The laboratory receives accreditation in accordance with the requirements of EN-ISO / IEC 17025 by the US National A2LA Accreditation Board.
2013
- The laboratory receives the "Calibration Sector" accreditation in accordance with the requirements of EN / ISO-IEC 17025 by the US National Council A2LA.
